East Riding Honey and Bee Supplies

We have a small beekeeping business based near Beverley producing honey and supplying beekeeping equipment to local beekeepers . Lester is lucky enough to have made his hobby into his business since leaving his desk job in 2006. He is assisted by his wife Rita in providing a unique service to customers. Use the site to find out about our different types of honey and more about beekeeping.
We supply shops, garden centres and other outlets with our distinctively packaged quality honey.
We also provide a local “on the doorstep” service to beekeepers in the East Riding. We are agents for Thorne Beehives, the largest beekeeping equipment supplier in the UK and one of the largest in Europe.

There is a growing interest in keeping bees and eating local honey. People have begun to see the benefits of natural foods, outdoor hobbies and being "environmentally friendly". We have seen more and more local people demanding a range of local honey from shops as they recognise its importance.

Our website also has pages devoted to Lester's trips to Europe to meet other beekeepers.
Rita and Lester are available for talks to local groups such as Women's Institutes, YCA branches,ladies circles, U3As etc. Rita talks on the "Year of the Bee" from a beekeeper's wife's perspective and Lester can give a more "technical" talk on beekeeping.
